37 week delivery?

I went to the doctor June 25th (28 weeks 4 days) baby weighed 1 lb 15 oz. July 9th (30 weeks 4 days) she weighed 2 lbs 9 oz. Doctor said if she continues to grow without any complications the latest we would have her is 37 weeks. Is it necessary to deliver early?

I delivered at 37 weeks with my daughter cause she wasn't gaining weight like she should of been. I was told the reason to deliver it at 37 so there's no complications and that once she's out we can get her to start gaining weight

what's the reason for wanting to induce you. ?

I would ask your ob for the specific reasoning to it. They shouldn’t induce you that early unless it’s 100% medically needed. If there’s a reasoning for baby to be smaller then I’d definitely ask for your ob to actually let you know and inform you with more detail.

The latest? Did he mean that he thinks she will be (naturally) born preterm or does ge actually want to induce you?

Absolutely not. He wants to induce you at 37w? Legally he can’t unless it’s medically necessary. I’m so confused by this...?
