Did having sex put you in labor?

Hey mommies so I’m 37 weeks and just dying to get this little one out. As far as my last appointment about a week ago I’m only 1cm dilated. Just curious if having sex put you into labor or dilated you more??

still plenty of time needed for bub to complete their full lung development. dilation isn't any indication of when and if labour will begin and sex like anything else will only work if bub is ready

I was told to use the pull out method. So I assume semen makes you progress? Lol.

I tried everything sex, tea, walks at the beach ‘ going up and down stairs, massage & ect .. none worked for me 🤷‍♀️ my son came on his own at 41 weeks .
