Miscarriage at 17+3??

this is my rainbow baby so obviously I have experienced loss in the past (it was very early but hurt nonetheless). I just had my anatomy scan yesterday and they said everything is perfect and healthy. So how can I get over my fear that I won’t be taking my daughter home in December? After seeing her yesterday, I truly fell in love and now I’m even more scared that that is going to be ripped away. 
Side note: I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety so while I understand these are common pregnancy fears, my brain is really blowing it out of proportion.

Have you started feeling any movement? I have anxiety as well and my mind goes nuts! I had the Doppler that I would use every week until she started kicking. Now it’s a constant reminder that she is doing just fine :) I still have my days honestly at 36 weeks where I can’t remember feeling her much and my mind goes wild. So I take a deep breath, lay on my left side and drink cold water until she gets moving.
The movement of your baby will help SO much.

I think day by day you just gotta keep reminding and grounding yourself that your chance of miscarriage is incredibly low and there’s no reason you can’t bring this baby home in December. I had a previous loss so it’s in the back of my mind but I’ve done really well the further along I am at keeping anxieties away and enjoying pregnancy and preparing for the BABY I will be bringing home this year. We can do it!

Chance of a MC is very low at this point and if it were to occur now or later there usually would be a problem that has been detected already. I had a missed MC at 14 weeks, and also my first daughter was stillborn at 37 weeks. But my first daughter had a genetic disorder called monosomy x which caused her to go into heart & kidney failure. So as long as baby is healthy the chances are slim currently and keep getting slimmer the further you get. I know how you feel though because I unexpectedly ended up pregnant again 2 months after my first passed away, I was stressed and my anxiety was through the roof (I do have generalized anxiety). I was very relieved when I found out this daughter doesn’t have the monosomy x nor any other medical condition that can cause her to pass. So I think finding that out helped a ton and I was able to start becoming excited. I’m 34 weeks now and she’s healthy as ever, my anxiety still is there since I lost my first at 37 weeks, but it’s not bad considering the reasoning isn’t relevant in this pregnancy. You just gotta remind yourself it’s a new pregnancy and new situation, it’s definitely good news that your baby is healthy 😊 It’s okay to be excited and I’m sure you’ll get more and more excited the closer you get to bringing your baby home!
