Best cloth diapers???

Question

I did disposables years ago, with my now 5 year old. I would really like to try cloth as I am pregnant again. I would love to hear from experienced mommas on which cloth diaper brands are the best!

There really is no best cloth brand or style. Just like disposables, it comes down to what works best for you and your baby. Every diaper brand is cut and made differently just as every babys build is different. It's best to buy several different brands and styles to try out before investing in a total stash to really figure out what you like and what works best. 
For my family personally, I found Funky Fluff diapers to fit my toddler best and have since he was 2weeks old. 
 However, my 15week old, the fit is not great and he soaks through them faster than my toddler every did, so I tend to reach for Thirsties Naturals aios and Smartbottoms for both a better fit and better absorbency. I also love flats and wool covers for him, especially at night.
Before my 15week old was born though, I never reached for my Smartbottoms for my toddler because they have rolled elastics and they're such a pain to put on properly on my wiggly toddler.

I agree there isnt one best kind. We use Grovia hybrids and i absolutely love them! We use prefolds and covers for the newborn stage.

Don’t go and get a lot of one kind and type.  For some babes the pockets don’t work, for others they are amazing.  There’s also prefolds and covers.  Get a mix of prefolds and covers, pockets and inserts, AIO’s and AI2’s, once LO is here see what works best for both of you.  Once you have that figured out you can invest in what is best for you.  I have seen people spend over $300 in just pockets to find that doesn’t work and have to get something else.  Also join some of the cloth diaper moms, and cloth diaper B/S/T groups on FB.  You can ask questions, and there is a plethora of suggestions and answers.
