IUD Scare

Hi,

When I was 17 my bf and I had sex for the first time on his birthday (after being in a 2 year relationship & I wasn’t on birth control) and there was a micro tear in the condom and I ended up pregnant and had an abortion.

I’m 19 now, I got an IUD about a year ago and my period completely stopped until July 4th of this year, I called my gyno and she doesn’t have any appointments while I’m home (from college) she said it could be stress, heat (I tried hot yoga) or I could be pregnant... again. (I have a bf)

Has the 1-year reoccurring period happened to anyone else? Or does anyone have anything to put my mind at ease..?
