Should I take a test or should I wait it out a little longer?

So my fiancé and I just got engaged last week. We’ve been together 7 months and we’ve been intimate throughout our relationship but never used a condom and I’m not on birth control for health reasons. We’ve never had a pregnancy scare so we thought one of us might be infertile. He tried donating sperm a few years ago and they rejected it but never shared their reason for doing so and I think I’ve taken too many punches to the gut from my older sister and hey maybe she shook up the vending machine so it’s no longer in service. But now I’m two and a half weeks late and I’m starting to get a little excited. My period does have a history with being a couple days early or late but never over a week. But I also don’t want to get him worried and me over excited. Am I reading into this too much or should I race to Walgreens after work?
