See I’ve been trying to conceive for a year and my periods are so irregular that even when I’m supposedly late it doesn’t mean much so testing just feels like a routine now , I hate the disappointment on my husbands face :( xxx

Currently me right now. Ovia said I should start this week so I’ve been testing with FRER But glow days I’ll start in 4 days. I give up. I’m tired of wasting money & seeing negatives.

I feel the same way. I’m not actually trying to conceive, but at the same time I’m not preventing either. But every time I take a test I tear up because the hope is gone. I don’t tell my boyfriend I test though, if we do get pregnant I want to surprise him.

Yep, and the solution to this is not to test! After a few disappointing months of testing, I worked out that the best thing for my sanity (not to mention my finances) was to only test if AF was late.
