tmi...but I itch....

So I know most people say don't shave down there since it can cause dry skin and ingrown hairs and such. However, I can't grow mine out otherwise it itches even worse and drives me nuts. It's gotten worse since I have gotten pregnant and it's all by the hood of the clit. I'm trying aquaphor but, it only helps for a tiny bit at a time. Does anyone have any advice on what to do?

I really don't think it's a yeast infection since that tends to be lower.
