Rant!

I am having my SO's family's first grand baby. Everyone was so excited when we told them!  My family has a few grand babies so while excited it's not as big of a deal to them. But his family offered to throw me a baby shower with my sisters help, that seemed awesome because I had to plan my sisters 3 years ago and it was hell! No one did anything they said they would and I paid for everything but the hall! So knowing everything would be taken care of I just had to buy my invites and get addresses seemed amazing. Well that's not how it has gone! They wouldn't get the same invites as I did they wouldn't even come over to do them with my sister and I. When we found out what we were having his sister threw a bitch fit about how unfair it was to not let her know as soon as we found out and how we are taking all of the joy out of OUR pregnancy for her. And now a month away from the shower they tell me they will be spending $35 bucks and I have to go out and buy everything that they were supposed to help with and help pick out and I'll probably be making anything I still need done. So this is daja vu from my sisters!
