Want to exclusively breastfeed when little girls born..any tips and tricks?what did you ladies do to help?

Defiantly stay hydrated! There were a few times where I had a dip in my supply because I got dehydrated and I had to work to get it back up. 
A nursing pillow helped me a lot when she was a newborn, it helped me position her. 
And it can be really rough at first! Stick with it and you will probably be really glad you did !!

I would 100% recommend going if the hospital where you’re delivering has a breastfeeding class. It was hands-down the best class I took before my daughter arrived.
Some suggestions: 1) buy a MilkSaver or haaka to collect the milk from the opposite side you’re nursing on. I was able to store so much milk those first few weeks because of this. 2) Talk to other moms who are due around the time you are as well as experienced breastfeeding moms. It’s important to be able to talk about what you’re all going through what’s normal and what’s not when it comes to bf. 3) Your breasts will feel sore and engorged quite often during your first 8-12 weeks as your milk supply is getting regulated. Try to avoid pumping in addition to feedings during that time period or you will likely end up with an oversupply (which isn’t terrible but definitely not ideal). 4) Between weeks 8-12 your milk supply will regulate and your breasts will stop being quite as hard and sore. Don’t freak out! This doesn’t mean you’re drying up and don’t have enough milk to feed your baby. 
Last bit of knowledge: Just because breastfeeding is natural does not mean it’s easy! It can be stressful, frustrating, and exhausting. I didn’t feel like it became “easy” until my daughter was 3-4 months old. Be patient with yourself and your little one and it’ll create the most special bond between the two of you ❤️

Everything listed above plus look up some YouTube some videos on correct and deep latches. I took the class at my hospital whereas my friend didn't and the biggest problem she faced was not knowing how to correctly latch her baby. Don't be afraid to put a good portion of your boob in that little mouth lol As others have said, be patient with yourself and the baby- you are both learning how to breastfeed! Also, look up hand extraction and engorged breasts. When my milk came in my breasts were so hard and full that my baby struggled to latch on one side and I ended up extracting my milk in order to get rid of the pain. It was definitely something I hadn't expected.

Be patient and don't give up. Use a lactation consultant. A lactation consultant can be very beneficial especially helping you with the right latch and position. A boppy pillow can really help. Feed on demand and remember that sometimes breastfed babies eat more because breastmilk is digested easier and faster. It doesn't mean they aren't getting enough. Also make sure you eat and drink a lot. I currently breastfeed my 14 month old. I never used a bottle or had any type of problems.

I recommend hiring a lactation consultant or taking a breastfeeding course. We hired a Lactation consultant while I was still pregnant and she would come by our home and give us private classes. My daughter is eight months and I can honestly say that my breastfeeding journey has been pretty good. The cluster feeding was a little tiring, but I stayed focused and got through it with my hubby's support as well. Do not get discouraged AT ALL, remain positive, and DO NOT GIVE UP. PLEASE stay hydrated. I've always loved water so it wasn't an issue for me. I also eat a lot of oatmeal, I was told that it helps to keep your supply up. So far, it has been working for me. Purchase milk-savers. I LOVE those, I refuse for any of my "liquid gold" to go to waste. Nipple cream will come in handy, I love the Motherlove brand. Breast pads will come in handy also. A lot of people I know swear by the boppy pillow, but I personally liked the Ergobaby Natural Curve Nursing Pillow a little better. If you plan to pump, I recommend getting a great pump and check with your insurance company. My husband's insurance covered the entire cost of mine, I have the Medela Sonata and LOVE it! For the first five months, I mainly nursed my daughter unless my husband wanted to feed her, we were in public, or I was out having "me" time. She suddenly stopped wanting to latch when she was around five months so now I have to pump until at night (she'll latch then). Hands-free pumping bras will really come in handy if you plan to pump. Be patient with yourself and your baby.  It's brand new for both of you, and it's a learned skill, even though they are born with the reflex.  The first month with my daughter was very hard...she had a tongue tie that made latching difficult.  We got that fixed and it improved quickly.   Hopefully your hospital has lactation consultants and classes, they can be helpful with positioning.  Also the kellymom website is amazing.  So much good information.   
When your nipples get cracked and bleed, try a warm saline (salt water) soak to help them heal and prevent infection.   Just like with a nipple piercing, lol.  My girl hated the taste of lansinoh, so we used coconut oil.

Feed on demand, make sure you eat, and drink lots of water. Definitely look up cluster feeding like someone else said. It doesn't mean that you have low supply, it just means the baby is signaling your body to make more milk. Always remember that it's supply and demand. If you supplement with formula or miss a feeding, you will need to pump. When you are first starting out, your nipples may be sore. I used the Medela lanolin and TheraShells. The lanolin is soothing and the TheraShells protect your nipples from rubbing against your clothes. Look for a breastfeeding class and do as much research as you can before the birth. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. We went back to the lactation consultant a few times in the first few weeks and they always helped boost my confidence. It may come natural, but it could also be really hard and it’s okay to get frustrated, have patience. You can take a class or look up some info on getting a deep latch.
