Unusual blood pressure spike

Last night after my shower, I felt very faint and could barely get myself dressed. I had gestational hypertension with my daughter so I have already met with a perinatologist regarding blood pressure. I started noticing swelling sometimes, so I had my dad let me use his blood pressure machine again this time. After I felt faint, my blood pressure was 175/135 and then I got another similar extremely high reading. It went back to normal eventually but my heart rate was 114 bc I was so freaked out. I didn’t call the on call doctor since it went back to normal but I called today and now I have to the 24 hour urine test this weekend and the labs the perinatologist wanted to do at 18 weeks on time instead of at 20 weeks.

I’ll be 18 weeks on Monday. I just think it’s so strange how faint I felt and how high my blood pressure went. It never got that high last pregnancy at all.

Anyone have any experience with this?
