Yesterday, I had a scheduled 31 week appointment with my ob at 10 am and an ultrasound scheduled at 2:15pm. I go to my mom's house to drop off my older daughter and I'm feeling like complete garbage. My mom's over here like you can't drive yourself to the doctor's office let me drive you.

I wasn't feeling well so I said "I've been puking all morning so I'm hungry if you drive me lests stop and get Subway on our way" she prceeds to tell me how bad of an idea this is considering I didn't feel good but takes me anyway because I'm super stubborn.

We go in and I shove my face full of food. Starting to feel better we go to my doctor's office next door. I go in, go pee in the cup and sit and wait. I get called to go back into the room. I waddle my way to the bp cuff and to get weighed. The nice MA weighs me then goes to take my bp, it starts to blpw up on my arm stops and blows up about 3 more times before releasing air. My bp is 198/135 no good! She takes me back in the room and my doctor flies in the room like

and comes in to tell my my protein in my urine is off the charts and my bp is no good I need to go to the hospital asap! Backtrack a little, I was in the hospital 2 weeks ago for preeclampsia and bp being high! She sent me to our main hospital where she assumed I'd deliver. They ended up srnding me home. So, she tells me I'm not doing that again! Your staying at my hospital until you deliver. So, we get in the car and I go get the hospital bag I packed the earlier in the mornimg prior to going to my doctors appointment. We get to the hospital and the give me a steriod shot and started me on magnesium through the IV. I get really hot and I start gagging... Up comes the subway. My mom helped me so much! After all said and done my SO comes in kisses me. He rushed to the hospital when my mom called to tell him they were delivering our daughter. I get all preped for my emergency c-section and my nurse cracks a joke anout being hungry but not eating subway. my respoce to that was you're welcome and everyone in OR laughs. After being at the hospital for 3 hours I gave birth to my beautiful daughte

Lets meet Viola Laura Lee Johnson weighing in at 2lbs 12oz and 14in long. She is a little fighter! She looks just like her Daddy! She was transferred to the Main hospital downtown because they have an awesome Nicu. She is doing great! As of today, she will be breathing on her own. I'm so impressed! They told us she won't be able to suck yet but took a passy for her daddy no problem. My 31 week baby is a miracle!
