Safe to have sex?

Question

So I’m 22 weeks and haven’t had sex my whole pregnancy. Just been “helping” my guy in other ways lol. Not to be TMI but I really am getting the urge to have sex and feeling very frisky. Is it safe to have sex or masturbate at this stage of pregnancy? I know that may be a dumb question but I keep reading online that even masturbation during pregnancy can make you go in to early labor by making uterus contract etc. Too embarrassed to ask my doctor lol just need some advice from you ladies.

Sex is perfectly fine at any stage in your Pregnancy unless medically advised not to

Just because your uterus contracts doesn’t mean you’re in labor. You have to dilate, efface, water break, etc to be in labor. There are a lot of things that have to be in play PLUS the contractions. Perfect example is Braxton Hicks contractions. Yea your uterus is contacting but you’re not in labor. So yes, it’s perfectly okay to have an orgasm - no matter how you get there. Enjoy yourself, girl.

As long as your not bleeding or on any form of pelvic rest. It’s safe.
But it does have a weird feeling after you orgasm and it only gets weirder as the baby gets bigger. Lol

if you've had no bleeding, it's perfectly safe to have sex and masturbate through out your whole pregnancy. my midwife told me at my very first appointment and this is my 3rd baby so I already knew that was the case, enjoy yourself 😊
