How do you make new friends?

Moved to a new city almost 2 years ago and haven’t made any friends, but also haven’t really tried. Do any of you guys have suggestions how I can meet new people? I lived in the same town my entire life before moving to Sonoma county, so I haven’t had to try and make new friends since kindergarten 😂😂 thanks in advance!

When I moved across the country with my husband we both joined Meetup. We’ve met some pretty great people through it.

People make friends at CrossFit gyms. What about a hobby that you can join a group?

look for events in your area and attend them. make friends with people you go to work, church, ect. you simply pick someone you like and say we should hang out sometime and exchange numbers and then you periodically invite them to hang out and vice versa. bam friends
