Early labor?

Woke up this morning Will period like cramps that aren’t coming and going. They just feel consistent pains either period like or gas pains from being backed up. I’m 39 weeks 3 days. Supposed to have a dr apt Monday and if I am still not dilated I will be induced Monday night with cervidil. First time mom. So not exactly sure what to expect. The pains I feel are making it hard to sit comfortably.

you're probably in the early stages of labor. I would wait to go to the hospital until they're more regular, like 5 minutes apart. Try lots of walking to get them closer together

Those are la or pains but if they’re not consistently getting kore frequent and intense then it’s false labor.  Your body getting ready. If hey get consistent. More intense feeling and within 4 minutes of each other then you may be going into labor. Once they start kind of taking your breath away where you can’t talk during them then you’re definitely in labor

I have been having the same kind of cramping for a few days. I’ll go several hours feeling like I have period cramps, then at some point i just notice they’re gone. It’s really frustrating when we are so anxious to go into labor! I am 39 weeks today, and was given Prepidil this A.M. the cramping has been around since then, with a little more intensity, but still no “come and go” contractions.
