First appointments and Ultrasounds...

How are all of you getting ultrasounds at 6-7 weeks 😩 they scheduled me for my first and it's in two weeks... I'll be almost 10 weeks then.. and I'm high risk.. I wen to my first appointment or so I thought it was going to be and just saw a nurse... who didn't even look for a heartbeat.. just gave us some papers and told me when my next appointments are... I go tomorrow for a physical then have to drive back Thursday to meet my high risk dr then a week later I finally get my ultrasound... it's a 4 hour round trip for us to this doctor and when I asked them to combine my visits or if my primary could do my physical they said no... it's really frustrating me... has anyone else experienced that?? Im 8 weeks tomorrow according to my last period..
