Is it wrong to promote products or brands with a bad reputation just for the money?

I watch this mom vlogger on YouTube who has 3 kids. Recently she has had a lot of controversy around her channel. Just recently she posted a picture of a paid sponsorship with a brand that is well known for its recalls due to severe reactions such as seizures from their products. She got a lot of shit for it and has since disabled the comments on the picture and kept the sponsorship up.

Now my question is, when you have that big of a following, do you have a moral obligation to only put out safe information and support safe brands? She has 115k followers on Instagram alone. Many who have kids themselves.

I personally always research myself when it comes to things like this and ask my sons doctor but a lot of people listen to those they look up to and watch out of trust.
