I found this rough patch on my 1 year old back at first it was just a little spot no redness but last night it started to show some redness

looks like it. my son has it on his chest and a little on his back. we use aveeno eczema bedtime balm and it has helped clear it up. it's a very common thing for children around that age

Looks like what my sons does. But could easily be something different. Lather him up with lotion after baths, aquaphor is great! Just bring it up at his next check up if it sticks around.

yeah probably, my brother and i had eczema as babies. we’re #1& #3 in our family, it skipped #2 and #4, but my younger brother gets it the worst. just keep it mosturized/hydrated. dermatologist can also give you some topicals that may help manage it but i’ve just come to terms with mine 🤷🏻‍♀️
