No sex drive?

Hi ladies. I am chronically ill and since I’ve been in a flare for about a month now - I’ve had no sex drive not before my period, not when I have my period, and not even after when I’m ovulating. I don’t know i am just not appealed to it at all by my boyfriend and I love my boyfriend and wanna love on him but I just don’t have any sex drive at all. I don’t know if it’s because I’m in a flare up (I have Lupus) and I’m in pain all the time and exhausted from Lupus itself or if I should be concerned or not. If anyone has answers please let me know. Thanks.
Yes we use protection - no I am not pregnant.

When you’re in pain, exhausted, or stressed it is completely normal to have low to little libido. Some people have the opposite but some (like me) do not have any desire to have sex. The most difficult thing that I’ve encountered is feeling guilty for not wanting to have sex when I’m not feeling well, because there’s always that pressure that you should want to have sex with your SO. I’ve learned over the years that it’s better to just listen to your body and don’t push yourself if you’re not comfortable, but also to be open with your SO and explain what’s happening. Your partner most likely wouldn’t want to have sex just because you feel like you should.
