When to take out nipple piercing?

I’m 20 weeks pregnant & currently have my nipple piercings still in. I’m really not ready to give them up. I love them :( but I know I have to. When did you ladies notice it was a good time to take them off ? Did they close correctly with out leaving any scarring ?

You don’t have to take them out most ppl just switch to smaller plastic bars when breastfeeding.. 
And as far as closing I doubt they will.. I did mine at 16 and I’m now 22 and they still are open at least of the way through and leak when my nipples do. Only 27 weeks now but I’m pretty sure milk will come out when breastfeeding lol

Yea.... you definitely don't have to take them out if you don't want to. If breastfeeding is the concern, you can still breastfeed- you would just obviously take the bars out each time you feed. However, this could be a hassle, so you could just use nipple shields.

You don’t have to...? If you’re taking them out because of interferences with breastfeeding, nipple shields are an option.

I just took mine out at 34wks because my boobs were just too itchy lol
