I am 39weeks and 1 day, I've just had my first stretch and sweep However my cervix was still pretty closed and only just just open enough for my midwife to do the process and it took her abit to get in.

I will have a repeat of the stretch and sweep at my next appointment in 4days time. I know it's very unlikely in my case to go into labour but what's your experiences with a stretch and sweep?
