Is this normal?

I’m 35 weeks and my doctor wants me to have a bpp and a nst once a week until delivery. At 34 weeks we found out I have GD and I’m Rh negative. At my first bpp we seen the baby was measuring 37w4d and weighing 7lbs. They didn’t seem too concerned about the baby’s health but more me being so small and the baby being so large. Is this normal for them to check us this often and there be nothing wrong?

Im not sure if being small has to do with it . Im 4’10 and my baby was already 6lbs at 34 weeks . And my doctor didnt say anything . So im not sure

They’re having you do nst to monitor baby’s heart nd make sure baby doesn’t go into distress . Anytime they’re a concern about weight with the baby (whether measuring big or small ) they’ll order one just to be safe . I’ve had to two already bc my doctor thought my baby was measuring small but she’s not , it’s the way she was positioned and couldn’t get a good measurement .

I didn't have a nst until after I was past 40 weeks but I didn't have gd so maybe that's why?? you can always just ask them 😊

I think it’s normal probably to have the tests. Although being rh negative means nothing, especially if you’ve had the rhogam shot already.
