So this is my birth story. It’s pretty boring and plain but I still wanted to share. I came in to be induced Thursday morning at 11am because I was a week overdue. They put the balloon in at 12:30 and it fell out at 3:30 meaning I went from 1cm to 4cm in three hours. I labored for 12 hours. I finally got an epidural at midnight and I was 7cm dilated. I finally got some sleep. At 3:50 am the told me I was ready to push. I pushed for seven minutes and my son was born at 3:57. I only had to get a few stitches on my left labia. He weighted 7.9 pounds and is 21 inches long. The photo was taken an hour after he was born and that’s the face he gave to his daddy when he was holding him.
