Stories about induction

I’m 38wk5 days and i have an appointment on Monday where we’ll talk about induction. I would looooove for her to come on her own, I’ve tried everything . Acupressure , sex , walking , birthing ball & nothing . I’m 2 cm and my cervix is soft but theyre saying it’s still long . I’m in a LOT of pain which is making it hard to sleep and breathe ( I’ve been having heart rate problems this whole pregnancy as well ) . I was thinking about scheduling an induction for Friday, but wanted to hear some stories first . Some people say it’s horrible , my sister had two and said it was perfectly fine and had no issues . Just looking to hear some stories.
