Why does everyone think they are a doctor?!

Sorry- little rant here!

I’m currently treating a case of mastitis. I had my daughter just 6 weeks ago. We exclusively breast feed. Three days ago my breast began hurting BAD like a deep bruise. I proceeded with the usual treatment for a clogged duct- massage, hot moist heat, attempting to drain the duct, nursing.... the next morning my breast was hot, swollen, red, and I was starting to feel achy and sick. I called my doctor right away and they started me on antibiotics...

Now let me tell ya’ll- I have had FOUR people tell me I “don’t have mastitis” because I wasn’t in “enough” pain....

*I had no intention of telling people my breast issues, it’s just very close friends/family that have asked about how breast feeding was going*

UMM. EXCUSE ME?! Last I checked I was in a lot of pain, but breast feeding is important to me so I nursed (and am still) through the pain. Trust me. I don’t want to have mastitis!! That shit sucks! Plus, my doctor agreed that he thinks I have the very beginning of mastitis.

Ladies, why the fuck do people feel the need to tell me my doctor is wrong? Did you go to Med school?! Why do people do that!? It’s so weird 😒😬🤬
