Have you ever had an ovarian cyst before? Tell me your experience in the comments. I just had one removed a few days ago.

Had/have cysts on both ovaries. They weren’t rupturing when they were discovered so they were never removed and aren’t large enough to cause concern. The symptoms alone were ridiculous. Nausea, cravings, bloating, three missed periods, and BFPs on FRER + Clearblue digitals. I was so convinced that it was a pregnancy until they did an ultrasound in the ER- it was just cysts. Still have em and still can’t use brand name tests because they’ll be false positives.

i have them a lot.  very frequently. i am on birth control to help stop the pain but i seriously have them rupture so often. extremely painful!

My only real symptom was having my period every other week for a couple of months. Went to the doctor, got an ultrasound at a nearby hospital, was referred to a specialist at another hospital I found out this was because it was because the cyst needed to be removed surgically since it was the size of a softball. 
I had surgery a few months later and missed a class field trip since I wasn’t allowed to go on rollercoasters (I was 14 when I had surgery). The surgery was pretty easy to recover from since it was laparoscopic and I only had 4 incisions and I can’t even see the scars anymore. 
During the surgery they also discovered that I had endometriosis, so it was a fun way to spend the summer before I went to high school.

I have one cyst on my left ovary and honestly my period cramps get worse on occasion because of it. It’s too small for my doctors to be concerned so I just have to live with it.
