Anyone give their 19 months old baby a pillow yet?

Just curious! The “guideline” says can introduce pillow from 18-24 months

Oops, I thought it was ok at 12 months so she’s had two small flat ikea ones for a loooong time. She’s obsessed with pillows!! We now gave her an adult size pillow that’s really flat and she LOVES having her “big pillow.”

We are thinking about trying one soon to see if it will encourage him to stay more in one place while he’s sleeping (in preparation for moving out of the crib eventually). He is so all over the place right now I don’t know how he’d ever sleep in a bed without “walls” haha.

I heard 12 months , but I tried giving her one maybe 2 months ago and she doesn’t even use it.

We received this as a Christmas gift last year, it’s a pillow that can wrap around a blanket, it’s fairly flat but lo loves it, so much that both sets of grandparents bought one to keep at their house and an extra one to keep in our car 😂

We tried giving my son a pillow when he moved to his toddler bed last weekend and he slept TERRIBLY with it lol (we were watching on the monitor and could tell that’s what was bugging him). I think he didn’t understand the point of it, so it just bothered him that it took up room. He has been sleeping with stuffed animals and blankets for a while now though, so 🤷‍♀️

My girl has a little donald duck pillow. She was scrunching her blanket up to use as a pillow. A small pillow is safer than a wadded up blanket. She hasn't used the blanket as a pillow since.

We co-sleep n my daughter (19months today) has had her own pillow since she was 13months n does perfectly fine with it. She actually sleeps better with one.
