help!!!

So, this guy I'm seeing has been hinting that he really wants kids, the same as I do. we both work pretty good jobs making very good money. I'm just worried that we're possibly moving too fast with the whole kids thing even though we both want kids more than anything. I'm 21 and a full time manager and going back to college and he's 23 and is in law enforcement (certain type but name unknown). I just want some advice on what to do. I've wanted a baby since I had a miscarriage when I was 14 due to rape. What should I do????
