Am I protected? Or should I get Plan B?

Hi all. I have been on combination birth control, Junel-Fe, for a year now. I just got into my first relationship so I’m a little lost on this subject since my mom doesn’t talk to me about sex and says it’s bad.

Basically, I finally saw my boyfriend this weekend since we have a long distance relationship. We had sex at least once Friday-Sunday (today). I was on my placebo week this week and today I just started my new pack of pills. On top of me being on the pill we always use a condom as well. Is it okay to have sex during my placebo week? I’m really nervous!! And if anyone has any advice about sex and being on the pill I’d gladly hear that too!
