Should I off the pill or change brand

Thanks for reading. I’ve been on lo loestrin for 19 months now. Everting was fine until...... last pack, I forgot one pill ( but did take two the next day) then had spotting for 12 days and it stopped so I continued the current pack (this time I took pill every day on time) however two weeks after, I am spotting again and I am not sure what happens. Should I change brand of maybe my body is telling me off the pill? If anyone can share their experiences, I’m much appreciated.
