Chances of conceiving?

I got off the pill last month and have done ovulation tests/tracking up to this point. I heard sex every other day can be helpful also so we have been kind of doing that. Are you supposed to go a couple days after ovulation as well for a "just in case"? And are chances really that good for sex every other day? We started the day after my period ended and was thinking we should go to the end of the month? Kind of new to some of these "tricks". Sorry lol
