Can’t shake this feeling off.

I use to talk to a guy who didn’t want anything serious. I cut him off & months later, a year maybe, I started dating a guy who I had no idea he was friends with. I see him sometimes and I feel like he may think I’m doing it to get back at him or something. I’ve grown into the feeling so much that even I convince myself that maybe that’s what I’m dating him for but I swear I didn’t know they knew each other /:
