sex and labor??

I'm 39weeks pregnant this Friday I know I still have a couple of days but have any of you gone I to labor after having alot of sex this close to your due date? and if so how soon? I cant take the pain I'm in anymore. I can barely walk!! my back hurts and I cannot sleep at all, I wake up sore as if a truck just ran me over...my husband keeps  reminding me thT baby will vo.e when she is ready..and I definitely know that but I'm I pain..I hate to sound selfish

Baby will come when she's ready. Semen can help soften the cervix and an orgasm on your part can cause contractions. Which can help you dilate. It's not a for sure thing though. It can cause contractions that literally do nothing. My orgasm put me into labor a few hours after. Could have been a coincidence as well.

I went into labor with my last two pregnancies! I know it worked for me because honestly throughout my pregnancies sex was non existent. And just so happens that the nights I decide to make my husband a little happy I went into labor lol I’m 35 weeks pregnant now, also no sex life over here at the moment. Once I hit 37 weeks I will try again. Good luck!

When I went into labor with my first I had previously showed no signs of labor at all. Not softening, no dropping no dialating. The night my contractions started earlier that day I had a done a little more strenuous activity and my hubs and I had sex. I honestly didn’t want to lol but just needed my husband to hush. And he was sort of rough with the thrust. Anyways both of it worked lol because I had the baby the next day naturally.

Sex doesn’t work for everyone. Unfortunately your husband is right she’ll come only when she’s good and ready.
