Novalac AR digest gassiness

I’m looking for your opinions on this formula in the heading? Novalac AR digest..
It seems to be doing its job by keeping down her feed but now she is having excessive gas and excessive crying. I’m not sure if it’s maybe the flow of the teat or if it’s the actual formula making her so uncomfortable.
