Second baby jitters?

Y’all I have a two year old and work full time. I’m 14 weeks with my second. A girl.  I don’t even have time to think about a second baby, much less “get ready.”  We aren’t doing a nursery this time because we don’t have another room. I can’t get myself motivated to buy anything, such as cute girly clothes, yet - I know it’s early but with my first baby I was chomping at the bit!!!  
I’m definitely not feeling as excited this time around. So now I’m getting worried that I won’t bond with the baby.

I felt this way. I just had my little girl a month ago, and my son is almost two. I work full time, and had ZERO time as it is. I think my biggest mistake was thinking she would be similar to my son. She's thrown us for a loop at every curve. It's been hard, but I'm still on maternity... I'm almost anxious to get back to work so we can get a routine going. As far as bonding... I take a little longer anyways. I didn't really fall in love with my son until week 6. I loved him, but not that overwhelming punch in the gut love. Post partum emotion has been a bit easier with her, but I'm still waiting for it. At first, I was sure I made a mistake. We had the perfect life as a family of three. But now I see my son help feed and burp her... As soon as he wakes up he runs to her saying, "Cora!" it's nice to know they will always have each other. She also gave us her first smile this weekend. I think she's grown on us 😊

I feel this post 💯I have an almost 3 year old and was just trying to think logistics ... (I’m only 6 weeks pregnant). And thought I probably won’t make a nursery - maybe I’ll change my office for them to share a room. Baby will be in my room for months anyway. By that time my daughter will be over 4... 
I could rack my brain all day and yet I have no energy to even think about moving furniture or getting baby stuff out again or where the hell did I put my breast pump. Oh god the pump 😣 🤦🏻‍♀️ 
I also worry that I won’t have all my attention to give to my first born and on the flip side won’t have the same time and attention to give to the second like I did the first ...

I’ve never felt a post so much. I have a two year old as well and I’m scared shitless. With my first I was like “I got this” with this one it’s like I forgot everything from what a baby needs the first couple months to oh yeah I should probably have something for him to sleep in 🤦🏻‍♀️ 
I’m so scared one of my kids is going to miss out Bc my oldest is my baby and idk I’m just so scared. I haven’t bought anything for the baby and I just don’t know. It’s the weirdest thing but I’m not super excited either Bc I know once he comes it’s going to be hard and idk how I’m going to handle all this.

I have a two year old and an 7 week old.  I did ZERO prep for this baby and waited to find out gender til birth.  The whole pregnancy didn’t even seem real cuz I had no name, no prep, no gender.  Now I have two little girls!  Baby two gets to wear all big sisters old stuff, use same gear, all I bought were some diapers and wipes!  I think it’s normal the second time around.  And the bonding always comes at different speeds for everyone...but it comes.

My daughter is almost 2 and we are contemplating TTC within the next year. I also work full time with a long commute and sometimes I just think... there is no way I could squeeze in one other thing (child) into another minute of my day. But then I think- people do it all the time it has to be possible. Hang in there!!

I’m 7 weeks with number 2, number 1 is 25 months and he’s such a handful. He still nurses to sleep and he’s still cosleeping with us due to being a high needs baby. We tried night weaning him and it’s been AWFUL. I have no idea how I’m going to get him to nap/sleep on his own.

I’m 34 weeks with #2. Last night my husband was patting my belly and saying goodnight to baby, and he looked up at me and said “I’m actually dreading having two children.” And I’m like, yeah, it’s gonna be awful!! 
We also don’t have another room, and we still have all the stuff from the first kid (and we loaned out our clothes to several other babies, and always got back more than we sent out). 
We got big sister a big girl bed, and that’s about the extent of our preparations...
It’s going to be really tough at the beginning, especially having a toddler who no longer naps, but I know we’ll get through it. Your relationship with the second baby won’t be the same as with the first one, but that doesn’t mean you’ll be a bad mom.
