Glynn?! Yes or no?! Please read!!

So my son was going to be named after my FIL, but he’s really rude to my dad and I don’t want my SON named after him at all. But I already told my husband that we would name him after his dad. Well, my dad is extremely butt hurt and my husband and I kinda came up with an alternative name because we like the way my FIL name sounds but don’t want the name. His name is Glenn and we were naming my son Eli Glenn but we are probably going to go with Eli Glynn. It sounds like Flynn but with a G. Super original yet sounds similar.
