Would you be pissed if you haven’t received a bill you need to be paying and you’ve reached out multiple times and they never answer & they expect you to pay for all the past bills plus late fees?

I’m talking about our HOA. We moved in April and we called and haven’t received anything they told us we will get back to you. We’ve called multiple times with no answer and finally today my boyfriend gets an email that says we owe them like 500+ dollars in HOA fees?

I mean isn’t it their responsibility to bill us? They don’t send us anything. We haven’t received anything apon moving in.

I mean if we have to pay we will of course but it’s frustrating that we’ve reached out and now they want to bill us late fees and everything because they haven’t been sending us anything?
