Maternity pics

Is it ok that I’m skipping the professional maternity photo shoot thing? I’m fine with the candid shots of me pregnant that my hubby likes to snap but paying for someone to wrap a sheet around my bare belly and photograph me in the woods just weirds me out. I think it’s great that other moms want to show off their bump (go for it!) but I think I’d rather just save my money for newborn photos. Everyone keeps telling me I’ll be missing out on a right of passage but I am not convinced. Thoughts?
