Fingering hurts

I've always had a hard time finding my vagina hole because I've always been too scared. Until yesterday I just said screw it and I found it. I tried to put in a finger but it hurt. I felt like nothing could possibly even go in there. So I stopped trying. Is there something wrong with my vagina? I'm afraid that when i grow up I wont be able to have sex with my future husband. I'm a virgin and only 16.
