To start, I've had the worst gushing periods since having my last baby. I can soak an Ultra tampon in an hour the first two days of my period. Its terrible. My OB wants me to try the Mirena IUD to lessen my flow. I've had my tubes tied so I'm not really interested in the birth control aspect. But I would be interested to hear opinions from others who have used the Mirena IUD before.

I'd like to hear what you have to say. My other option for my heavy flow is a uterine ablation and that kinda weirds me out a bit...
