Did Ross cheat on Rachel

Okay okay I want to know you’re opinion!
Rachel told Ross they were on a break, Ross goes to a bar but after talking to chandler and Joey he is convinced to call Rachel and make up with her but he hears Marks voice in the background which only makes him think that she was messing around with Mark. So Ross ends up with the copy girl because he thought him and Rachel were done.
I personally think he didn’t cheat on her. When I think of a break it means from the relationship so you’re technically single.
What do you think?

technically no, but he completely destroyed her trust. it hadn't even been a full day and he went and fucked someone else. how little do you have to care about someone to do something like that? I would be beyond crushed. and then he tried to hide it from her because he KNEW what he did was messed up.

She said break, not break up! A break means to have some time apart, get some space, reassess and try to work on your relationship to save it...you’re technically still together, just on hold. If you use that time to go and screw someone else then you probably should not be in a relationship anyway! Call it what you want but he was definitely in the wrong.

A few months ago I watched all friends seasons again and after more than 15 years since the first time I started to hate Rachel's behavior and attitudes. They were on a break and what Ross has done was wrong, I would have broken up with him too. But Ross tried after that to get Rachel's trust again and she didn't let him. And this huge letter was crappy 😂

It was a break not a break up. In a break I think you should still be loyal to that person. It isn't like you're completely separating. You just need time apart after a rough patch.

personally a break doesn't necessarily mean a break up so i dont think it means that youre single. it doesnt mean go fuck whoever you want unless thats been discussed as okay to do. if youre going to fuck around on a break, then that means you probably shouldnt stay in the relationship
