36/37 weeks- NICU stay?

Question

I’m currently 35 weeks exactly and tomorrow my doctor is doing a membrane sweep due to my high blood pressure and 3 extra liters of amniotic fluid.
Baby girl was 5 pounds 9 ounces last week, and was perfect. 
I’m worrying that if she comes next week she will have to stay in the NICU. 
Did anyone have their baby at 36/37 weeks & have no NICU stay?

I was a couple of days from 37 weeks and my son was around 7lbs. He did not have to go to the NICU at all.

The doctors told me that girls do better than boys when they come early. My daughter was 37 weeks with no NICU time, my son was 35.3 weeks and did 8 days.

I was induced at 37 weeks with my daughter due to high blood pressure and everything was perfect and she did not have a NICU stay! She was also 7 pounds, 11.2 oz

Defiantly possible! Really depends on the baby. I’m sure they will do steroid shots to help with babies lungs since it’s planned meaning it’s less of a chance of going to nicu
