College peers: how you do feel about gender-neutral housing?

Q. 1. How do you feel about sharing a college house with people of the opposite sex? 
Q. 2. How do you feel about your partner/bf/gf sharing a college house with people of the opposite sex, if you won’t be there too?

I went to a fine arts college. The freshman laughed at the same-sex housing because plenty of them were gay and slept with their roommates anyway.
I don't see a point to separating students by gender any more. It's not going to stop teenagers from doing whatever the hell they want to do. If anything, it's just to keep parents quiet and keep donations rolling in.

What do you mean by house. My daughters dorm is co Ed. But her rooms only have the same sex. So the floors are co Ed, but not the rooms

Definitely a good thing. Gender-neutral housing is in able to accommodate the students that don’t identify as man or woman and those who are trans.

I lived in gender neutral housing. I don’t see the problem with it. Firstly, not everyone actually identities as a woman or man so it helps with that. Secondly, some people feel more comfortable living with someone of a different gender. 
I wouldn’t care much if my significant other in college was living with a woman.
