Okay everyone, I’d like some opinions on what I’m thinking right now. When I send out my baby shower invites, is it rude to take note of some things that we DO NOT want people to get us? For example, baby will need A LOT of things and I’d rather someone get a few outfits and diapers rather than a stuffed animal. Does that make sense? I really don’t want my newborn to end up with 20 stuffed animals that they don’t need or maybe 20 pacifiers that they might not even use. Is this me just being too extra? I really want to know. Thanks in advance!

Edit: I don’t know if it matters, but the majority of the shower will be extremely close family. Maybe 2 or 3 friends. I don’t know if that makes a difference.
