Is anyone else not planning on announcing their pregnancy? I have told a total of 3 people, obviously not including my husband. Not planning on announcing til maybe after birth. Maybe not even then. I don’t live anywhere near friends or family so, why? 🤷

I only told my family and my husbands family. Our close friends know as well beings we all live in the same town within minutes of each other! Outside of that we didn’t announce it on social media, not planning a gender reveal, and most likely if we take maternity pics we’ll keep them to ourselves or our parents. We don’t like the idea of the world know our personal business. Plus as this is our first we are just taking in all the changes together, such an amazing time in our relationship!

My husband and I have told our families and friends. We are not going to announce it on social media. It’s just not our thing. I wanted to make sure the people close to us were able to follow us in this journey and not the whole world. It’s been rewarding to keep this experience intimate!

We have told everyone we want to know, I’m not telling my dad after his comment “maybe you shouldn’t tell me next time” he said this after my second pregnancy loss in my Hospital room with our son next to me in the cold cot. 
All my family are respecting my decision not to tell dad, well maybe not my older sister but we will find out if she has said anything at our nephews 1st birthday in 2 and a bit weeks.

I haven't announced my twin pregnancy, other than to family and a few close friends. and i don't think I will until after they are born. it's inevitable for me to.post the.on social media eventually. it's how allot of my out of state family keeps in touch with us 😊
