Shower invite wording
My mother is throwing me a traditional baby shower and has invited family and family friends. My husband and I are throwing ourselves a co-ed shower for our friends.
I would like to communicate on the invite to friends that gifts are optional—but I don’t want to say no gifts, because, frankly, if people want to give us gifts, that’s great. I just don’t want friends to feel obligated. Any suggestions on how to word an invite to make that clear?
