I have had awesome experiences using AirBnBs in several cities. We have always rented the entire house or apartment, so the owner is not on the property.

Depends on what you’re booking. I typically always get the whole house. A few times I have done things where they have a smaller house/studio apartment away from the main property and never had issues. My husband and I try to stay in Air B&Bs; as much as possible since he stays in hotels majority of the time due to work.
