late pill, am i safe to have sex?

okay so my boyfriend and I plan on having sex tomorrow, however I was out today and my pill was due at 2:40. I am on a combination pill(Estracip by medsol). I will not be able to access my pill until around seven or eight. I've been taking my pills at the same time each day before that, and I believe that I am on my,, 15th, 16th pill out of my 21 pack.

would I still be safe if he and I had sex unprotected?

I ended up taking it at ten thirty-ish because I took someone else's shift.

does that still make me protected?

also should I expect anything like unusual bleeding or something like that as a result of taking it late?
