I really don’t understand why everyone is so against checking their cervix. There’s nothing wrong with checking it yourself just make sure you wash your hands first and preferably do it during or right after a shower. There are many diagrams online that show you a visual aid

Many midwives even suggest women check themselves so they have an idea what’s going on. I’ve always tracked my cervix before during and after pregnancy. There are also many midwife websites that will explain what your feeling for.
