WHO CARES? None of these people are your child and you shouldn't let your parents or anyone change your mind. this is why I don't plan on telling anyone my child's name until they're born because at that point, it doesn't matter what the name is, everyone will have to grow to love it. choose the name you love. If your child hates it, there are plenty of other names she could use. I'm not fond of my name but I would never disown my parents just because of my name. that's silly lol. Name her Gwendolyn.
P.s. Gwendolyn has been one of my top girls names for like ever. it's beautiful. Who cares what anyone else says.

Gwendolyn is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I’d go with it. 
If your baby doesn’t like Gwendolyn, she can always go by Gwen, Wendy, Dolly, or Lyn. She has options.

It’s not an outrageous name and I think it’s pretty. My advice- pick and name and keep it a secret. You and hubby don’t need everyone jack Jill and Harry influencing YOUR child’s name
